Safety

Winthrop has an excellent safety record. We employ two full-time, experienced and qualified Safety Managers. Their job is to make sure our site safety procedures and policies are implemented and up-to-date. Winthrop also retains the services of safety consultants to independently verify standards are being met on all sites.

Day-to-day site safety is monitored and controlled by additional site safety managers qualified in Managing Safely in Construction. They are supported by qualified Safety Reps. All personnel attend a safety induction to the company and receive the company's Safety Hand Book. Site staff members attend all necessary safety courses, relevant to carrying out their job.

All employees must successfully complete the course.

• Attend regular Tool Box talks
